This role includes, but not limited to, client relationship development, professional solutions selling, information management and organization, vision-casting leadership, scope of work development, client presentations, proposal development, setting and managing expectations with clients and internal stakeholders, and guiding clients through the business decision-making process based on alignment of their needs, budget, and schedule.



AV Design Engineer Job Summary – AV Engineer I

The AV Engineer plays a key role from concept to project completion. You will document all facets of system integration including comprehensive drawing sets, parts lists, cable schedules, and system configuration details. You serve as an integral team member with the client, project development leader, project manager, and the service team to support on-time delivery of solutions and services that meet or exceed customer requirements within expected budgets and project schedules.

– Integrated control system engineering and design experience required

– DSP programming and manufacturer certifications desired

– Construction documentation development in CAD

– AV design documentation development in CAD

– Infocomm / AVIXA Certification(s) desired



– 3 years project management in an integration environment

– CTS certification

– Follow a job from start to finish – from pre-sale to customer turnover

– Familiar with current AV components, technologies, and techniques

– Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

– Provide technical advice and assistance to clients


-2-3 years AV project development experience

– CTS certification

– Reading of blue prints and technical drawings

– Construction experience

– Cabling, cable terminating, and equipment installation

– Rack building and wiring
